High Pressure Heavy Lifting Bags for lifting the heaviest loads; up to 74 US tons. Use when maximum lifting force is needed in low clearance situations. High pressure lifting bags exert maximum force in a concentrated area making them ideal when lifting rigid structures in tight places. Crisscross Kevlar reinforcing and thick, multi-layer rubber shell ensures long life under harsh conditions. Sava lifting bags are compatible with any other manufacturer's lift bag systems; just specify brand when ordering.

SQUARE LIFTING BAGS

Heavy lifting bags are thin profile and simple to use. The convex surface nodes create an interlocking surface which provides superior gripping power when stacked. Twelve standard sizes are available with lift capacity up to 74 tons. Safety straps minimize shifting hazards and allow bags to be strapped together for safety. Safety straps provide anchorage for attachment of pulling and placement ropes so it is not necessary for personnel to reach under a live, unstable load. Safety straps come standard with all bags 18” or larger.

Custom engineered heavy lifting bags for special purpose applications are also available. Use for heavy load shifting, dunnage, leveling, or padded support up to 74 tons and higher.

*Note: Selection of the proper air bag depends on the ratio of height vs. weight. For instance, you wouldn't’t use a 30 ton air bag to lift 30 tons. Max. lift height decreases as the weight increases. Use the graph (RIGHT) to determine the max. height any particular bag will lift a certain weight.

LOAD PLATES

Load plates can be used on uneven ground or when the load is smaller than the bag. Keeps the bag flat preventing lift height loss due to concentrated load depression. Works well when lifting heavy framing members, pipe sections, anything cylendrical or narrow.

INFLATION ACCESSORIES

Sava inflation accessories have been designed for precision control, high reliability and long life. Use only Sava controllers for maximum safety and performance.

Industrial quality, sold rubber composite hoses and nickel plated couplers work exceptionally well in all temperatures and weather conditions from the arctic, to the desert, to the tropics.

All Sava controllers come with built-in pressure relief valves.

Dual Deadman controller is preferred for precise inflation and deflation control. All metal, Sava variable control, deadman, console controllers are the most popular choice for first responders and rescue teams, recovery and vehicle (or structure) stabilization operations. The Deadman controller can accurately control one or two bags from a single regulated air source.

Built-in safety relief valves prevent lifting bag over pressurization. Toggles are pressure sensitive; open a little for slight flow, open more for more flow. Couplers are color coded for use with colored hoses for easier identification during lifting. 

Color Code Standard Colors:
Yellow = Supply hose
Blue = Primary inflation distribution hose (for single controllers)
Red = Secondary inflation distribution hose (for dual controllers)
Green = Third inflation distribution hose (for triple controllers)

Black = additional hose for other applications (MSHA approved for mine use).

Sava lifting bag accessories are designed primarily to connect to Sava high pressure cylinder regulators. For industrial use an additional adapter may be needed to be able to plug Sava air hose safety couplers to your system.

INFLATION HOSE

3/8”ID *Nytrile all-weather inflation hoses.
*Black hose is Neoprene and approved for use in mines (MSHA approved).
Choice of Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, or Red.
Select colors according to standard controller color coding.
Rubber hoses remain flexible from -40°F to +212°F (-40°C to 100°C).
Nytrile rubber is naturally resistant to oil & fuel.
All hoses come with proprietary safety couplers which are compatible with Sava air bags, controllers and associated accessories.
Use adapters to convert air compressor, truck air, or other air source to Sava safety couplers.
Burst pressure, 1,000 PSI.

Normally the yellow supply hose would not need a relief valve or shut-off valve. It is only offered for special applications.

Hand-Held Single and Double controllers are very solid and work well in environments where one handed operation is preferred. Inflation buttons feature full on-off or deflate position. Overpressure safety relief valves built-in with separate gauges for each bag to operate independently but with one air supply source. Controllers will operate with compressor, SCBA breathing air source or even truck brake air source. Machined aluminum body is rugged and lightweight. Rubber handle with surface nodes work will in cold temperatures, hot temperatures and has a positive grip when wet or icy.

EL-1F, HYDROSTATIC TEST PUMP
For testing inflatable products. Periodical testing with water under high pressure measures performance and can safely reveal damage or wear before an explosive failure can occur with air pressure.

Pump includes four (5ft.) hoses and connectors to test Sava bags and adapters to test most other lifting bags.

Documentation and forms are supplied for creating a comprehensive program to track and record each bag tested throughout its history from purchase to equipment retirement.
